Non-standard products have always been a tough nut to crack in the crane manufacturing industry—they are highly customized, involve complex processes, have tight deadlines, and are difficult to standardize and replicate. In the production of 450-ton and 360-ton four-beam casting crane trolleys for a key national project, he fearlessly tackled challenges, overcame difficulties, innovated technologies, and improved methods, reducing the 15-day production cycle to 7 days, and achieving acceptance on the first attempt, setting an industry record. This significantly accelerated the production progress of the company's major projects and helped the company repeatedly win the "Excellent Supplier" honor for important projects such as Baosteel Zhanjiang and Baoshan Iron & Steel.

Li Jie deeply understands that the core of "quality improvement" lies in technological innovation. Through long-term practical experience, he has developed his own method: deeply integrating traditional processes with digital tools using a "lean production + intelligent collaboration" model to ensure the intelligent manufacturing of high-quality products. His invention patent, "An Electric Hoist Bridge Crane," was recognized as a scientific and technological achievement by Henan Province, and his quality improvement project, "Increasing the Bending Output of Rotary Track Rails," won the third prize of the 2024 Henan Provincial Quality Management Group Technical Achievement Award.

As a mentor in the work group, Li Jie has always adhered to the concept that "talent is the most valuable resource in Henan Mine Crane". He has fulfilled his responsibilities as a mentor, imparting his knowledge and skills to others, and setting an example. He has trained more than 20 apprentices, all of whom have grown into technical backbones and are able to "take on the task independently" in urgent and difficult tasks.
