Inherit the spirit of model workers and be a struggler in the new era

Hello everyone! I am Li Jie, a mechanic in a Mine Crane in Henan. It is an honor to share with you today my experience at work, as well as my understanding and perception of the spirit of craftsmen and model workers.

I grew up in an ordinary peasant family and had a keen interest in machinery since I was a child. At the age of 17, I began to learn electric welding and mechanical maintenance, and then engaged in construction work in Tianjin for a year. By chance, just when Changyuan Lifting began to develop steadily, I joined Henan Mine Crane in 2010, and I felt both excited and nervous in the face of complex crane parts and assembly processes. But I always remember my father's teaching: "Although we don't have academic qualifications, as long as we learn a skill well, we can still get ahead", with this belief, I devoted myself to my work. During the day, I followed the footsteps of the masters, carefully studied every assembly link in the workshop, and did not miss any detail; In the evening, I held professional books and drawings to study the structural principles and assembly skills of cranes. In this way, day after day, year after year, I gradually accumulated solid professional knowledge and rich practical experience.

In my career, I have faced countless challenges, but each time has become a ladder for my growth. I remember once, in the face of a 450-ton four-girder casting crane project, it was necessary to adapt to special metallurgical scenarios, and it was necessary to take into account precision casting and heavy-duty hoisting. After learning the news, I did not hesitate to take the initiative to ask for help, overcome difficulties, and immediately cooperated with the company's technical department, process department, quality inspection department, production department and other major departments to form a "technological innovation team", which simulated the design drawings, material characteristics and production process in three dimensions, and predicted risk points such as welding deformation and assembly errors in advance. The 120-day production cycle was compressed to 40 days, and the acceptance was qualified, setting an industry record, winning high praise from customers for the company, and also allowing Henan Mine Crane to establish a good reputation in the industry. At that moment, I deeply realized the truth that "as long as you work hard, you can always make a name for yourself", and it also strengthened my determination to continue to explore in the field of mechanical equipment. Another time, the company's automation project required an assembly accuracy of 2 mm, and I led the team to work overtime, study deeply, and after technical research and repeated testing, to ensure that the overall assembly accuracy was controlled at 0.20 mm, which improved the performance of the whole machine.

At the same time, in 2019, I was awarded the honorary title of "Changyuan May Day Labor Medal", in 2020 I was awarded the honorary title of "Xinxiang May Day Labor Medal", in 2023 I was awarded the honorary title of "Henan May Day Labor Medal", and in 2024 I was awarded the honorary title of "Henan Provincial Model Worker", especially this year, I am honored to be named the honorary title of "National Model Worker", I feel very honored and feel a great responsibility to participate in the commendation meeting in the Great Hall of the People, but I know in my heart that these achievements are not my personal achievements, but the result of the cooperation of the whole team, and it is also a testimony of the unity and hard work of all our miners.

In my eyes, the spirit of craftsmanship is the dedication to work, the ultimate pursuit of technology, and the strict control of quality. Every time I assemble a crane, I think of it as creating a beautiful work of art, striving for the right fastening of each bolt and the precise installation position of each component. Because I understand that as an important special equipment, the quality and safety of cranes are directly related to the safety of users' lives and property, and there is no room for sloppiness. The spirit of model workers is based on the spirit of craftsmanship, with more responsibility and dedication. As a model worker, we must not only have superb skills, but also play an exemplary and leading role to drive the common progress of our colleagues, just like Secretary Li Liancheng, a deputy to the National People's Congress of Puyang City, said, one person is not rich, everyone is rich is called rich.

In order to pass on my technology and experience, in the strong atmosphere of the company's "passing on and helping", I led the team members to carry out technological innovation and process optimization projects, and actively organized skills training and technical exchange activities, and cultivated batches of excellent mechanical equipment talents for the company. Up to now, more than 20 outstanding employees have been trained into technical backbones. I am extremely proud to see the apprentices continue to improve in their work, because I know that the future of our company has a more solid talent support.

Now that the manufacturing industry is developing rapidly, Henan Mine Crane are also constantly transforming and upgrading in the direction of green, intelligent, customized and networked development, and it is more necessary to continuously improve skills and keep up with the pace of the company's development. I will strengthen my belief, pay attention to strengthening the study of political theory and the improvement of crane professional skills, better serve the development of the lifting equipment manufacturing industry, and continue to contribute to the high-quality development of the lifting industry and Changyuan City.
