Introduction
There is no such thing as easy success; it comes from years of perseverance. Twelve years of youthful dedication, rooted in the front-line production workshop, his blue overalls are his armor of struggle, and creating high-quality products is his unwavering vow. With a love for his job and a quiet commitment, he is Xu Houjun, a welder and skilled technician in the sixth shift of the single-beam workshop at a Henan Mine Crane.

Good things are always born from hardship, and melons are always bitter before they are sweet.

Twelve years ago, Xu Houjun had zero work experience, zero skills, and zero foundation. All he had was his physical strength. His family's poverty placed a heavy burden on him to support them. "Find a job near home so I can take care of my family. Don't go too far away." Despite his family's advice, he was determined to make a lot of money. Surprisingly, he became a welder by chance. While working at  Mine Crane in Henan, he was captivated by the flashing arcs of light in the intense production environment. When his mentor said, "Electric welding requires a lot of skill and is quite challenging. To do it well, you need to put in the effort," the ever-competitive Xu Houjun decided to become a welder, thus beginning his career surrounded by high temperatures and sparks.

Hard work pays off; one must be strong to succeed.
Facing welding, a skill he had never encountered before, nervousness and pressure troubled him for a while. "To be a welder, you must calm your mind, never be impatient, and concentrate fully," his mentor advised. Hearing this, he secretly resolved to become an excellent welder. "Some people think that as long as the weld is good, that's enough, but I must ensure that every weld is perfect." Through countless days and nights, and hundreds of hours of rigorous practice, he gradually honed his skills, achieving the ability to weld in one go. He transformed from a welding novice into a key technical worker.

Skilled workers were recognized and set an example for their colleagues.
Only by enduring hardship can one understand that success is not achieved overnight. Now, he has become a skilled welder, consistently maintaining a dedicated, focused, rigorous, and pragmatic work ethic. He has distinguished himself multiple times in the annual Quality Month technical skills competition, even winning the company's "Technical Expert" award year after year. In the 2024 Xinxiang City Vocational Skills Competition for welders, he achieved first place in the practical skills assessment, earning him the title of "Xinxiang City Technical Expert."

He exemplified the value and significance of perseverance and focus through his own struggles. Facing difficulties without fear, daring to shoulder heavy responsibilities and taking the lead, they uphold their original aspiration of crane manufacturing with the heart of a craftsman, contributing their strength to the company's high-quality development.
